My 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Today was a good day. The only thing that went wrong was the gallbladder pains which weren’t that bad. I got paid finally and was able to buy Jenni an anniversary gift. I got her a netbook which will be here friday. Viva la Amazon!

At my doctor appointment today I was able to get off the Pentasa. I am now only on potassium, Imuran, and Nexium. Dr. Chaudhary wants to wait another month before we remove the gallbladder so that the Humira will have the Crohns under control.

All in all it was a good day.

I don’t like Mondays

Today was uneventful. I went to see Dr Jester who is my primary care physician. He had blood drawn to check my potassium and vitamin d levels. While drawing my blood the nurse missed my vein twice. This is high on my list of things that suck. Tomorrow I go to see Dr Chaudhary and we will be talking about my latest round of test results and hopefully when we will remove my gallbladder.

Another one bites the dust

Today was a relaxing day. I spent the morning watching TV and playing zelda, I even got in a nap. The only eventful thing I did today was go to little David’s wedding. It was a very nice ceremony and I hope the two of them will be happy. Now I am watching the old V mini-series. Total nerdvana.

I’m feeling ok today just really tired. I still have the rash at the injection site but it seems to have cleared up a little. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my PCP. It’s just a checkup so there shouldn’t be much to report.

It’s been a very emotional week

My buddy Jim lost his daughter last sunday. I can’t even imagine what he is going through but I’m just going to be here for him and his wife when they need me.

I did my second round of Humira shots wednesday. No problem there except I now have a rash around the injection area that itches like crazy. I called the nurses about it and was told to put ice on it. I will get it checked out at my doctor appointments on monday and tuesday.

Yesterday I had a sonogram done. Didn’t show much just a bunch of gallstones. My gallbladder is causing me so much pain I really want to get it yanked out.

Today is Palmer’s birthday party at lunchtime. Adam spent the night so that he could go with us there. Tonight is Amanda & Freddy’s wedding shower for the whole family. It’s going to be a really busy day.

a lazy memorial day

Today was quite possibly be the laziest day ever. I slept in late, played the wii, and napped all day. The most strenuous thing I did today was go to the grocery store with Jenni. As far as how I am feeling I hurt today in my hip and elbow. The abdominal pain was there but it was less than yesterday. Hopefully this trend will continue.

After dinner tonight my stomach is upset and making all kinds of noises. I really want it to settle down and let me get some sleep tonight.
