I decided to take the plunge and install Linux on my laptop. I started out with Fedora Core 8 and just didn’t like it. I’ve decided to try Ubuntu out for awhile. So far I can see how it could be a desktop replacement for someone. It set everything up during the install including my wireless card. Pretty nifty.
I’ve installed some programming tools and am going to check out writing .net apps using mono.
Might have to get you to show me a thing or two about getting it up and running on one of my older machines…
